Conan Exiles: Where to find the locust nightmare.

If you are in search of the Locust Nightmare – here is a short guide where to find it.

You will need to climb the top of this rock plateau. You might need climbing boots and a ton of stamina

This is where that rock plateau on the map. See the circle. This is north west of the Sinkhole.

Once you get to the top of the rock plateau, you will find the Locust Nightmare.

BDO: Dungeon Portal – If you see this weird shit…

If you happen to be in the desert and you see this weird portal shit, do not go near it.  You will fall into a desert dungeon and get your ass beat fairly quick.  You will die almost immediately.    Then your limp body will be transported to the nearest safe spot which will be a far ass way from your horse.  You’ll have to run back to get your horse or find the nearest city where there is a stable to remotely collect it.  If you think you are strong enough to handle demonic beasts and you don’t care if you die in the most brutal way possible or that you have to search the desert for your damn horse, then by all means, fall down the hole.

Black Desert Online: King Griffon Knowledge

King Griffon knowledge is one of the hardest to get in the game. (I don’t know why) There is an easy way though!  There are two quests that require you to have King Griffon knowledge.  Those quests are: Revivify Knowledge & Co-Op Head of an Eagle, Body of a lion. Pro tip: Do these quests at the same time.  You can get them from an NPC in the middle pond area of Navarn Steppe. (See Map Below) In order to finish Revivify Knowledge quest, you have to obtain all the ecology knowledge in Steppe.  Press H (for Knowledge menu) Go to Ecology, Ecology of Kamasylvia and then the first one on top, Steppe of Kamasylvia.  You have to discover everything under Steppe.  Even if you have collected energy from Steppe ecology knowledge – in order, to finish the Revivify quest, nothing can be a ???.

Pro Tip:

Obtain all the knowledge under Steppe of Kamasylvia, leaving King Griffon for last. Once, you have everything but King Griffon, go to Milden. (He is located in the middle pond area) Milden will sell you King Griffon knowledge for 10 energy but only after you have the knowledge of everything else.

Black Desert: Pro Tip (To ease the pain of leveling to 60)

Recently, I have leveled up one of my characters to the 59 and it’s been quite painful trying to get her to 60.  I have been fighting monster after monster, mob after mob, until my tiny gamer fingers went numb.  So I grew weary of fighting.  I sat depressed on the side of the road watching other happy gamers go by.  I started to do a few quests to fill the void and to my surprise BDO has added massive amounts of combat experience to all these quests.  I spent two hours today doing all these random quests.  I started out at 35%.  See pictures below.

About an hour later, as you can see in this screenshot, I’m at 58.219 %

Another hour after that, I’m at 78.300%

Normally, this would have taken me weeks of fighting mobs to level up to this percent and I’m assuming BDO is adding combat experience in these quests to encourage people to do them. It is working, BDO!  I definitely want to do some random quests!  Never before had I had this much enjoyment from talking to NPC and basically, being their gimp for two hours. I have no idea how long BDO will keep the combat experience in these quests but if you need to level up a little quicker, I really suggest doing a few.

PRO TIP:  DO THE QUESTS!

Update (07/08/19)

I did reach level 60 the same day as the post above.  I found that certain areas did have quests with better combat experience as rewards.   This tended to be new areas like: Grana,Stars End, Brelin Farms, Duvencrune & surrounding areas.  If I went to Heidel or Veila, the quests did have combat experience but did not have as much as the new areas.  From each quest, I was gaining 2 to 3 % experience.  I also killed about 600 blue man dogs (Fabus) to compare if combat would give me more experience but it did not.   I think after killing all the dirty dogs, I went up less than 1 %. So the quests are quicker and more experience.

I also found that quests with the book beside them offered better combat experience.   There were a lot of repeat quests that did not have the combat experience but there were quite a few that did.  I skipped the ones that had no experience as a reward.   I’m not sure about the Black Spirit quests because I had completed the majority of those already.
