New World: Winter Festival

New World has a Winter Festival going on through December 16th to January 11th.

You can find out more information on their site here.

Here’s another website where you can find all the Gleamite locations: Click here

Here are some answers to some of the frequently asked questions that I see in chat and hopefully, that will help a few of you.

Are fallen Gleamite meteors random? Random to some degree, yes. Fallen Gleamites only show up at night and at destinated locations. It’s not going to be just anywhere on the map. Below are three areas, that I frequent for Gleamite meteors. (There are more places – Just FYI!) The reason that it is somewhat random is because the shower may only be one per night or more and it’s never an exact time.

Everfall: Salt Hollow is my least favorite place because it’s often crowded. This is because it’s very close to a Winter Village and people can run back and forth. If you do want to be near a Winter Village, then this is a good place to go.

Restless Shores: Go where the red circle is. This place is my second favorite because nobody is ever there. The night cycle lasts about 30 mins? (Not sure) and sometimes, there will be two meteor showers if you wait long enough. The downside is that isn’t much to do other than wait.

Monarch’s Bluff: This is my favorite place. See the red circle. There aren’t too many people around and I can kill or gather things while I wait for the next shower. There is plenty of motes, turkeys, wolves, wood, iron and food items in the area to really keep you busy.

Food: If you are trying to farm Gleamites then be sure to get some food at the Winter Village. They cost 2 Winter Tokens each and it doesn’t matter which one you get. Each one will double the amount of Gleamites gathered when taken. It lasts for 25 minutes.

What is the purpose of Gleamites? You can farm Gleamites, go to the Winter Village and use the hut there to turn them into Winter Tokens. These tokens are used at the store by talking to the Winter Wanderer. You can also search for lost presents too and turn them into Winter Tokens. (You only get 1 lost present at a time, but you do get event reputation. The more reputation you have, the more options you have to buy from the store.

Settlement Winter Trees: There are decorated Winter Trees in each settlement. The tree will give you a present. (The website says up to 3 times per Tree – a just once a day) In the Winter Village, there is a tree there that also will give you a present. If you are level 60, the tree will give you some extra goodies. You can visit each settlement in the different regions and get a gift as well as each Winter Village.

Winter Village Locations: Everfall, Brightwood, Monarch’s Bluff and Weaver’s Fen.

Bless Unleashed: How to get on your mount.

As with most games, a lot of the hotkey settings are very similar, this game will not be the case. A lot of the instructions are either on screen too fast and disappear or the instructions are buried somewhere.

Mounts:

I believe you get a brown horse by default in the game or by completing an early quest. I noticed you can buy mounts or earn them through quests. I got this bird mount somehow but I’m not really sure how. Anywho……

To find your mount – It says you need to be by a stable to register them – that wasn’t the case with me. Here’s how I did it.

I opened my inventory bag by pressing “I” on the keyboard.

I clicked under “Consumables” at the top and found a mount card in my inventory. (The mount icon is a horse) I clicked on that and it asked me if I wanted to use this card. I clicked “ok” to this. The card will disappear from your inventory and be added to your stable of mounts. (automatically whether you are near a stable or not)

Down at the bottom of your screen, you will see how many mounts you have active or total.

To call on your mount and ride around on it, you just need to hit “X” on your keyboard. Also, “X” to get off the mount.

To switch out your mount, click the ESC button on your keyboard. Pick Stable from the menu. All the mounts you own will be highlighted. Click on the mount you want to use by default. This puts a little triangle in the corner of the mount picture.

YouTuber Life: Where to find network assignments?

Been playing a new little tycoon game.  It’s cute and a total time waster but it took me forever to find where to get the assignments.

You need to be in a house that allows you to join networks

Once, you are moved into that house – there is a board on the wall with post it-notes.

Click that.  There are two tabs – events & assignments.

Click on the one for assignments.

Viola!

PIMD: How to sell your dorm

How to sell your dorm:

First, I will explain what that means when somebody in chat is saying they are selling their dorm.

When a person wants to sell their dorm, this does not mean they want to sell their account, they are actually selling all the items on display in their dorm room.

To view these items, you would have to click the person’s profile and then use the “Enter Room” button.

To purchase or trade:

In order to purchase these items, you will first need to friend the person.

Open a chat with the person and hit the trade button.

Why are they selling their dorm?

Lots of people like to collect the whole dorm room theme and sell them for bentos.

It usually takes quite a bit of time to collect a whole themed room and it’s not easy.

Prices:

Whole themed dorm room prices will vary.  It will depend on rarity and what level the pieces are at.

Furniture items are usually exchanged for bentos.

The 499 & 999 items are going to be the most expensive.   999 items are a minimum of 15 bentos and higher.

I have seen 999 item go for 70 bentos.  (I think that’s too high though) but level does play a major factor in how much something sells for.

499 & 999 are also the hardest to obtain or win.

A 499 item is going to be around 10 bentos (maybe higher)

A bed or desk – around 2 to 5 bentos.

The items that don’t level up aren’t worth even 1 bento.  Those are the floors, wallpaper and some of the wall hangings.

The lamp, table, shelf, shelf items, chair and other floor item can usually start around 1 to 5 bentos (maybe higher depending on level and rarity.)

Jaded & Miscalculated

Wanted to mention a new event that is out every weekend now. (Friday & Saturdays, I believe) where all the items are between 50L to 100L.
