Ipad Time Waster Games: Dream Daddy

Dream Daddy – A Dad Dating Simulator

Genre: Roleplaying and complete & utter fantasy

Summary: A Dad Dating Simulator where you play a dad with daughter, who recently just moved into town. Of course, the first thing a dad wants to do is romance other hot dads!

Thoughts:

I have not played this game and probably never will because this screams hot mess to me.  I’m also not interested in unrealistic role-play no matter how cool the outfits are.  Oddly, this game has a high rating too.  It looks like you can build your dad with different looks and then meet random men at various locations.  I’m assuming to hook up.  The examples of dads (Picture below) does not appeal to me.  We have what looks like a vampire, a frat boy and a dirty bike mechanic with an alcohol problem.  Then beside him, it is says “Build that dad! With a picture of a guy that looks like he has moobs and shops at hot topic.  It looks like the demographic for this game would be young gay / bi-sexual male gamers that love to date men with children.  Which is not a wide marketing field there.

Since, I have never played it; I can only speculate how the game play would be.  Here goes:  Day one: Build your very own dad and dress him in a sexy outfit. (Polo shirt and hot pants) Day two: Meet another hot dad at the local biker bar where drinks are ½ price until 7 pm.   After you had a few minutes of small talk and are well past drunk, you make out with other hot dad in the back alley.  Day three:  Hungover and bruised, you explained to your daughter how you use her as a prop to lure in other hot dads and that her mother is missing.  (Boating accident, you believe) Day four:  Two hot dads fight for your affection! One is an out of shape millionaire and the other is a poor Latino pool boy, who will you choose!   I could go on forever with this but I won’t.

Recommend:

I cannot recommend this since I won’t even play it myself.  Maybe if they could come out with another addition (part two), moms looking for mediocre men that aren’t complete fucks, I would play that.

IPAD Games: Animation Throwdown Tips & Hints

Animation Throwdown

Beginner tips:

Quests: Follow them

Keep following all those quests especially in the beginning.

They are relatively simple and offer bonus rewards.

Decks:

Customize your deck as soon as possible.

How:  Go to the “Deck” option on the main menu.

Turn “Auto Deck” off.

The top row is the deck, you are playing with.  The bottom is all your extra cards.

Drag and drop your cards that you do not want to the bottom row.

Place all the better cards into the top row.

The pink, blue and green are the better cards.  The gray cards are the lowest tier.

Upgrade:

Level up your cards

You do not need to level up all your cards.  Start with the rarer ones in your deck. (Pink, Blue & Greens)

Still in your deck option from the front menu, click on one card from your deck.

Once you click it, there is an option to upgrade the card at the bottom.

In order to level the card up, you will need some “Giggitywatts” or “Coins.”

How much it takes to level up a card depends on how rare it is.

You can also hit the “Max Out” button at the top of the card if you just want to max the card out.

Fuse:

Make your card even more powerful!

When you have maxed out / leveled up two identical cards, you can fuse them together to make one better card.

I do this a lot with my extra grey cards because you are going to need grey cards in your deck, so you might as well make them as powerful as they can be.

Research:

Research those combos!

During battles, you can stack cards onto other cards if the combo has been researched.

Click on “Research” from the main menu.

Click on one of the research pods and pair two cards together.  It usually takes a few hours to a day to research most combos. (It depends on the rarity of cards on how long it takes)

I pick one card out of my deck and try to research as many combos with that card.  Basically, keep doing research until every card in my deck can be paired with another card or multi cards.

You can also obtain rare cards from research.

Money:

Buying extra cards……

You do not need to buy extra cards if you level up your cards and research combos.

If you just want to support the creators and get rare cards faster, then go for it.
