PIMD: Spinner Items

How much should you buy / sell spinner items?

What are spinner items?

Spinner items are the things you can win only in the Spin game on PIMD.  You need to earn 100 points for one free spin.

Some of the items are rotated out after a few weeks and some are not like the chibis.

For the prizes that rotate:  You need collect the 4 themed items and have 5 of each one of the 4.  (20 all together) They will then combine and make one item.

Why collect these?

Each of these collectable spinner items are worth 5,000 in stats.  If you can collect the 20 and have them combine; it will be worth 250,000 in stats.

What are they worth?

Your first and best option is to trade other people for the spinner items.  Lot of people have extra spinner items that are willingly to trade for the spinner item they need.

Your second option is to buy one for a chibis.  I would not pay more than that.

PIMD: How to sell your dorm

How to sell your dorm:

First, I will explain what that means when somebody in chat is saying they are selling their dorm.

When a person wants to sell their dorm, this does not mean they want to sell their account, they are actually selling all the items on display in their dorm room.

To view these items, you would have to click the person’s profile and then use the “Enter Room” button.

To purchase or trade:

In order to purchase these items, you will first need to friend the person.

Open a chat with the person and hit the trade button.

Why are they selling their dorm?

Lots of people like to collect the whole dorm room theme and sell them for bentos.

It usually takes quite a bit of time to collect a whole themed room and it’s not easy.

Prices:

Whole themed dorm room prices will vary.  It will depend on rarity and what level the pieces are at.

Furniture items are usually exchanged for bentos.

The 499 & 999 items are going to be the most expensive.   999 items are a minimum of 15 bentos and higher.

I have seen 999 item go for 70 bentos.  (I think that’s too high though) but level does play a major factor in how much something sells for.

499 & 999 are also the hardest to obtain or win.

A 499 item is going to be around 10 bentos (maybe higher)

A bed or desk – around 2 to 5 bentos.

The items that don’t level up aren’t worth even 1 bento.  Those are the floors, wallpaper and some of the wall hangings.

The lamp, table, shelf, shelf items, chair and other floor item can usually start around 1 to 5 bentos (maybe higher depending on level and rarity.)

BDO: Quest Tip – Unchained Curiosity

If you are on your way to discover Valencia City for the first time, you will probably run into this quest before you get there.

In this quest, you will need to discover Ibellab Oasis that is located in the desert.  You will have to find some travelers located right outside of Gahaz Bandits Lair.

(See Map Below)

When you reach these three travelers, be sure you are still on your horse because once you talk to one of them, they take off to Ibellab Oasis. Just “R” to chat to one of them and just follow the one to the Oasis.  (You don’t need to chat to all three)

Things you will need when you are in the desert – so prepare before you go:

  1. Water (Put the water on your hot bar)
  2. Star Anise Tea (To warm your body up at night)
  3. Compass (There are 3 parts to a compass – you can buy the parts off the marketplace then put together)
  4. Some type of ride (Horse or a Camel)
  5. Shovels (For quests later down the road)

Black Desert: How to obtain sailing experience.

How to level up sailing?

Here is what you need to do:

·         Own a boat.  (A raft will not work)

·         Have lots of repair kits

·         You only gain sailing experience in un-mapped (unchartered) water. (Margoria Ocean)

·         You cannot auto-path in this area.

·         You cannot “AFK” sail in this area.  (At least it’s not recommended)

·         You will run into ghost ships and water sprouts that can damage your boat.

·         There are several daily quests in Port Ratt that help you gain sailing experience.

·         You can kill / hunt sea monsters. (Young Black Rust, Young Candidum, Young Nineshark) This will give you some sailing experience too.

Leveling up in sailing is one of the more difficult life skills to get experience for. BDO has reduced the experience you need for sailing to level up but really, not made it any easier to gather that experience.  You will have to decide if sailing that much is worth it to you.

Here is a random picture of my Shai character for no reason at all.

BDO: PRO TIP – Fishing

BDO: Fishing Pro Tip

If you often leave your character on (while AFK) fishing then you definitely need to try out this location.

There is a little pond just outside of Duvencrune. (See Picture)  There is an NPC located there that has a daily quest.

In this repeat quest, all you need to do is catch a “Korean Loach” fish and you are rewarded with 400 contribution experience.

If you are going to be AFK fishing, you might as well get some contribution experience from it too.  Right around the corner from this pond, is a trader, blacksmith, storage and central market.

You can sell your fish, repair your rod and put your money in storage.

This location is never super crowded and nothing troll-ish happens there.  In a few hours, I usually catch close to two million worth in silver. I will also get ancient relic crystal shards with a minimum of 1 but I have got as many as 12 before.

Gear & Stats

Fishing Master 8

7+ Epheria Fishing Rod

6+ Maple Float

1+ Fishing outfit

Fishing Rods:

If you have a couple of choices with fishing rods but for long AFK fishing, I prefer Epheria.  You can repair it and use it over and over.

I bought an upgraded one off marketplace and at 7+, this rod has 120 durability.  The float helps catch better more expensive fish.

The fishing outfit gives me experience to level up in fishing.  I’m debating whether to buy a higher grade outfit but not sure it’s worth the money.

*I usually buy upgraded items instead of upgrading them myself.  I do not want to lose the black stones or break the item. Sometimes, it just cost more to upgrade an item then to simply buy it off marketplace.
