BDO: Quest – A Sweet Bargain

This is a quest I had quite a few times and the trick to getting the Fogan into the cage is to walk backwards slowly with him.

Second Life: Some weird shit over there

Surviving Second Life with some pro tips thrown in.

(Written with the help of my friend, Gigi)

Second Life has been a social game that’s been around for over a decade now.  There’s not much point to it.  There is no end game.  It’s just a place where people can socialize in a virtual realm.  It’s a place where I have met many friends and a few fuck wits.  It is still a place where I will log into for a chat and have a nice relax.  Like all games, if you can call it that, there are rules.  So here is a very loose guide for surviving Second Life.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Appearance matters.  If you look like a noob, you are treated like one.  This is completely shitty but true.

Avoid “Breedables.”   They cause lag and suck the linden out of your wallet.  On an off note, you can’t see them breed.

Singing in a Karaoke contest does not make you a professional singer in Second Life.

Never cam or send real life pictures.  You never know what porn site they might end up on.

Meeting people in real life is going to be a disaster 90% of the time, unless you know them for over 4 years and even then, they may end up being a racist redneck from Jersey.

Most female avatars are male.  Very few females are male avatars.

Second Life is overrun with narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths and a few borderlines.  All the gaslighting can be exhausting.

Ghosting is a thing and a lot of the Second Life population is dying of cancer.

If somebody asks you to pose on the ball, say no.  They just want to ass rape you.

Nobody in Second life is ugly in Real life.

There are modeling classes in Second Life.  Passing this course, does not actually make you a model in SL.

AFK hookers are a profession in Second Life.

Never give out your password to anybody.  (Not even the love of your life in SL)

Very few Second Life relationships last longer than a month.

If you are going to “disappear” and “reappear” as an alt, don’t hang out at the same locations as before and try to pick up the same women.  We know who you are, dipshit.

Gachas will ruin your life.

Don’t put your home landmark in your profile.  People will stalk and put tracking devices there.  (Welcome)

Flexi is not sexy.  Neither is white hair with bad tans and 80’s eagle tattoos.

Don’t be too judge-y in SL, even with the people wearing cow utters carrying a milking machine.

People will judge you.

Free stuff isn’t always good.

Organize your inventory and label those fucking folders.

Second Life is filled with perversion and some nice music.

Everybody has alts and sometimes, they are dual logged.

If you want people to speak with you, then keep your dick in your pants.

Make your dick size realistic if you do need to have it hanging out.

Chat hubs are a cesspool of stupidity and will melt your mind.

Being an SL designer requires hard work….repeat….HARD WORK.  It is not easy, and you will not be rich.

Use the Firestorm viewer. (Welcome)

Make your crosshairs private.

Learn to cam.  It will help you shop in a place with tons of lag.

If you went the extra mile and bought a mesh body, match the neck to the head.  I can’t take it anymore.

If you go to a club, it is not a rule that you have to play a gesture constantly.

Don’t beg for Linden and do not give money to beggars.

Most Dom’s are subs.

If you must meet somebody in real Life after knowing them in Second Life, be sure to ask them their penis size.  There is such a thing as being too big.

Sometimes, your ex boyfriends turn out to be secret furries.

Women will send you stolen pictures / fake nudes.  Just quit asking for them.  Match the hands / face/ breasts/ to all the pictures dumbass.

Don’t log off naked.

There will be times when you will somebody literally screwing anything.   Just turn away.

You don’t have to voice verify with anybody.  They just want to hear your sweet angel voice to jerk off to.

If you are going to combat in SL, realize there is lag because SL is not built to handle combat.  So you do not need to say every few mins “Why is there so much lag.”

Hope this all helps.  ❤

YouTuber Life: Where to find network assignments?

Been playing a new little tycoon game.  It’s cute and a total time waster but it took me forever to find where to get the assignments.

You need to be in a house that allows you to join networks

Once, you are moved into that house – there is a board on the wall with post it-notes.

Click that.  There are two tabs – events & assignments.

Click on the one for assignments.

Conan Exiles: Isle of Siptah

Conan Exiles: Isle of Siptah

Answering some questions about Conan Exiles newest release:

Is Isle of Siptah an expansion?

No, this is not an expansion and I’m confused on why Conan Exiles even refers to it as that.

Why it is not an expansion?

In order to play Isle of Siptah, you will have to join a server that is running it.

Conan Exiles & Isle of Siptah cannot be run on the same server.   The maps do not connect to each other.

When you start Isle of Siptah, you will have to create a new character.

Yes, you will have to start a whole new character.

How big is the map?

The map is a decent size.  It’s about half the size of Conan Exiles.

Is it worth the price?

I paid $19.99 from Steam and I would say it’s worth it.  If the price is higher, I’m not sure it would be worth more.

Will my other DLC’s carry over?

Yes, if you have other DLC’s from Conan Exiles, you can use them in Isle of Siptah.

There are some new items like mountable Rhinos and building pieces that Funcom added to Isle of Siptah.

Something to think about:

Isle of Siptah is an extra 61gb download.

What I like about it:

Funcom has added new monsters / animals to train or fight.  It is an island so there are a lot of storms.  Random lightning across the map will shoot out monsters or thralls to kill.

There are plenty of nice areas to build and I like the new building pieces.  Overall, I love the island feel with undead pirates and ship wrecks.

What I do not like:

Finding thralls to train can be difficult especially if it’s a server with a lot of people.  Resources are every where but not in large clumps so you have to search longer for what you need and in several different locations.

Food does not health you up as much as it did in Conan Exiles. You have to make bandages. When you are healing yourself with a wrap, your character cannot move until the wrap animation is finished. This will last a few seconds.

Storms will damage your bedroll.

PIMD: Changing your name

PIMD: How to sell your dorm

How to sell your dorm:

First, I will explain what that means when somebody in chat is saying they are selling their dorm.

When a person wants to sell their dorm, this does not mean they want to sell their account, they are actually selling all the items on display in their dorm room.

To view these items, you would have to click the person’s profile and then use the “Enter Room” button.

To purchase or trade:

In order to purchase these items, you will first need to friend the person.

Open a chat with the person and hit the trade button.

Why are they selling their dorm?

Lots of people like to collect the whole dorm room theme and sell them for bentos.

It usually takes quite a bit of time to collect a whole themed room and it’s not easy.

Prices:

Whole themed dorm room prices will vary.  It will depend on rarity and what level the pieces are at.

Furniture items are usually exchanged for bentos.

The 499 & 999 items are going to be the most expensive.   999 items are a minimum of 15 bentos and higher.

I have seen 999 item go for 70 bentos.  (I think that’s too high though) but level does play a major factor in how much something sells for.

499 & 999 are also the hardest to obtain or win.

A 499 item is going to be around 10 bentos (maybe higher)

A bed or desk – around 2 to 5 bentos.

The items that don’t level up aren’t worth even 1 bento.  Those are the floors, wallpaper and some of the wall hangings.

The lamp, table, shelf, shelf items, chair and other floor item can usually start around 1 to 5 bentos (maybe higher depending on level and rarity.)

BDO: Valencia Grave Robber Questline pt. 3

If you are interesting in reading Part 1 (Quest 1 to 6) and Part 2 (Quest 7 to 13)

Quest 14th: Moving Ahead

I think out of all the quests, this one was the most challenging in the beginning.  You have to dig in the circle to find a quest item but the thing was that you actually had to be outside of the circle to find it.   See pictures.

You are just a smudge just outside of the mini map circle – facing these two rocks.  (Not too close to them and at this angle)

Zobadi is behind you – The man by the white horse. As you can see – you are in front of him..near these two rocks.

You might have to dig a few times and adjust yourself at the right angle.  Remember, if you avie is inside the yellow circle on the mini map – you need to move it outside just a tad.

Black Desert has never fixed this quest in the years I have been playing..no idea why.

Now, you need to go back to Valencia and talk to Afuaru to get the next quest.

Quest 15: Memories of Eliza.

You need to go talk to Tatar. He is the drunk down by the lake and you need to steal a key from him to open the chest after you talk to him.

This will take you several times and you will be amazed how much useless shit he has in his robe.

Once, you have the key, open up your inventory and align the box and the key together to open it.

Then go hand the diamond/chest to afuara.

Quest 16: Rabam’s Storage Key

You just need to steal a key from Rabam in the training area and go give it to the storage keep, Ramanit.

She will then give you a journal to give to Afuara.

Quest 17: Gold Bar Required

Bring 20G of gold bars and travel back to the Gahaz Bandits.  It’s in BFE.

To be continued….
